World Migratory Bird Day Walk

Join Overton Park Conservancy and the Memphis Tennessee Ornithological Society as we recognize World Migratory Bird Day, where we officially celebrate the journey birds take to their wintering homes on the second Saturday in October. Join us to see our feathered friends heading home after a busy summer breeding season.
BYO binoculars or borrow ours! Participants are encouraged to download the free birding app Merlin.
We prefer that dogs be left at home for this event; they can be disruptive to birds, and we’ll be looking and listening for subtle movements and sounds on this walk. (Dogs are welcome on our Wednesday Walks!)
