Permits and Approvals
As a public park, Overton Park requires coordination with local film authorities. Please note the following requirements:
Film Permit Required
You must obtain a permit from the
Memphis & Shelby County Film Commission.

Drone Usage
Drone photography or videography requires additional documentation, so please inform both Overton Park Conservancy and the Film Commission in advance.
Street Closures or Police Presence
If your shoot involves uniformed personnel, traffic control, or street closures, you'll need to provide the appropriate permits and Certificates of Insurance through the Film Commission.
