Ways to Get Involved
Trash Collection
One of the easiest and most impactful ways to help is to pick up litter while enjoying a walk in the park.
- Bring your own bags, gloves, and grabbers
- Focus on high-traffic areas, especially near East Parkway and Poplar Avenue
- No registration required—just show up and care for the space!
Volunteer Ranger Program
Become a steward of Overton Park with a recurring volunteer commitment.
- Minimum of 2 hours per month
- Assist with park maintenance, trail care, and visitor support
- Training and orientation provided
Public Volunteer Days
Join other community members for group workdays focused on key park needs.
- Opportunities throughout the year

Corporate Volunteer Days
