In just six years since his GRAMMY-nominated debut album Kingfish, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram has become a global blues sensation. Born in Clarksdale, Mississippi — just 10 miles from the legendary crossroads of Highways 61 and 49 — he grew up immersed in the blues. Kingfish topped the Billboard Blues Chart for 91 weeks and earned a GRAMMY nomination. In 2021, his follow-up album 662 debuted at #1, earning him his first GRAMMY for Best Contemporary Blues Album. NPR hailed the album as “astounding.” Since his debut, Kingfish has won 12 Blues Music Awards and 11 Living Blues Awards.
