Our pollinator garden is full of color and constantly in motion. That makes it the perfect place for a special edition of our nature journaling series! Join us this afternoon at 4:00 at Veterans Plaza as we explore all the beautiful plants and insects in this special space. Bring paper and something to draw with, and we'll have a few art supplies available to share.

We've got lots of fun in store for our final Nature 101 walk series of the year, happening on Saturday, October 19! With beautiful weather and the leaves starting to change, it'll be a feast for the senses. Choose from 6 different routes:
🐦 Birds - Fall Migration and Molts - 9:00 AM
🐦 Birds - Youth-led beginner birding - 9:00 AM
🌱 Plants - Invasive Species - 10:00 AM
🦋 Trees + Insects - 10:00 AM
🍄 Fungi - 11:00 AM
🌱 Plants + Insects - Fall Flora and Feasting Friends - 11:00AM

Tomorrow marks the first day of #naturezenmonth, our annual celebration of nature's power to heal. We're excited to kick it off with the first FREE nature journaling class of the fall! Every Tuesday in October at 4:00 PM, meet near the East Parkway Pavilion for a slow meander to record what we see, hear, and feel in the Old Forest. No RSVP is necessary; bring your own notebook and writing utensils, and we'll have limited drawing tools to share.
