Overton Park Vendor Permit Application General Guidelines

CHAPTER 12-84: PARK AND PARKWAY REGULATIONS

Section 12-84-3 – Sales and Exhibitions

It is unlawful for any person to expose any article for sale or exhibition in any park or parkway unless previously licensed to do so by the Division of Park Services.

Please note that we do not communicate the presence of other events or vendors on site to permitted vendors. We encourage you to review our public calendar for any public events. Information about private events is not shared with vendors or the public.

Complete this Overton Park Conservancy Permit Application to begin the approval process. You will be asked to upload the following documents:

  • Current Memphis and Shelby County Business License
  • Copy of valid driver’s license for each truck owner/operator
  • Copy of Shelby County Health Department Local mobile Food Service Permit
  • Proof of current auto insurance
  • Photo of food truck
  • Menu (optional)
  • Link to website/social media accounts (optional)

Conservancy staff will review your application and contact you. There is a $100 annual application fee. Once your Vendor Permit is approved and fee paid, you will be allowed sales in Overton Park for one calendar year. Note: annual fees are subject to change.
