Super Saturday – Floral Sculptures
July 11 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm CDT
Create a masterpeice during Super Saturday: Floral Sculptures, a creative, hands-on activity inspired by floral art in the museum’s collection. Drawing inspiration from the whimsical floral works of Florine Stettheimer and the cultural legacy of Mary Simms, young artists will craft their own vibrant upcycled bouquets using colorful pipe cleaners, buttons, and mini vases.
This activity encourages kids to experiment with texture, shape, and color while reflecting on the creativity and impact of women in art history. Each handmade bouquet is a joyful celebration of imagination and self-expression—no watering required!
Ideal for ages 5–12. All materials provided.
Registration is required. Spaces fill quickly—sign up early to join the fun!
