Overton Park Community Farmers Market starts today!

Overton Park Community Farmers MarketLooking for a convenient place to stop on your way home from work to grab fresh fruit, veggies, fish, and more? Now through October, you can swing by the East Parkway Pavilion on Thursdays from 3:00 to 7:00 PM for the Overton Park Community Farmers Market!

Formerly located at Evergreen Presbyterian Church, the market is now making Overton Park its home so that even more of our neighbors will have access to fresh, affordable food. The market accepts SNAP/EBT benefits, and is part of the AARP Fre$h Savings program, which doubles SNAP benefits on fruits and vegetables. Brochures about the program will be available at the market.

The market is a collaboration between Rhodes College and Overton Park Conservancy. It will continue through October 29 before resuming in April 2016.
