Free wellness classes this summer

Tai chi at Overton Park
Marjean Liggett leads tai chi

We are pleased to announce that FREE wellness classes in the formal gardens begin May 3 and continue into the fall! Thanks to the generosity of our instructors, Overton Park Conservancy is able to offer these classes free of charge.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15 – 8:00 AM, join certified instructor Marjean Liggett for tai chi movement classes. These gentle moves will strengthen and calm body, mind, and soul.

On Wednesdays from 8:30 – 9:15 AM, join intuitive guide, teacher, and author Michele Sammons for a guided group meditation. Take advantage of the beautiful formal gardens setting to connect more deeply with yourself and the community practicing with you.

All levels are welcome for both tai chi and meditation classes, and no pre-registration is required.

You’ll find information about these and other events going on at Overton Park, including those at our partner organizations, on our web calendar.
