Super Saturday – Pointillism
May 30 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm CDT
Wrap up the month with a colorful art adventure at Super Saturday: Pointillism Landscapes on May 30. Inspired by the richly detailed works of Carroll Cloar in the museum’s Permanent Collection, young artists will explore the technique of pointillism—creating images with tiny, vibrant dots of color.
Using Q-tips, paint, and watercolor paper, kids will build their own dreamy landscapes dot by dot, learning how color and repetition can come together to create visual depth and atmosphere. It’s a playful introduction to both a unique artistic style and one of the region’s most celebrated painters.
Ideal for ages 5–12. All materials provided.
Registration is required. Space is limited—reserve your spot today!
