Día de los Muertos

Location

The Día de los Muertos Parade begins in the Tower Courtyard at Overton Square with floats and performers making their way to the plaza at the Brooks Museum beginning at 11 a.m. The community celebration at the Brooks will offer art-making activities, face painting, music, costumed performers, dance performances and more!More details will be posted in this event as plans come together!Admission is free for the whole community!

Altars

As part of the Brooks annual Día de los Muertos celebration, the museum will host an exhibition of student-made altars in the Education Gallery.  Visitors are invited to add a butterfly in memory of a loved one to the interactive wall in the gallery on the lower level.  Download this template to bring your own butterfly to the museum.
