Please join OPC and Breakaway Running this Wednesday, June 8, at 6:30 PM to walk, run, and share your support for the family of Officer Verdell Smith, who was killed in the line of duty this weekend. Donation proceeds to go to the fund established for Officer Smith’s family. The first 300 to donate $20 or more will get a free t-shirt courtesy of Breakaway Running.
Free parking will be available in the Memphis Zoo’s main parking lot until 8:00 PM. Traffic will follow a one-way clockwise pattern in the park, and no parking will be allowed on Veterans Plaza Drive between Old Forest Lane and Golf Drive.
The 2.8-mile run will begin at Rainbow Lake Pavilion. Share this event on Facebook.
