May We Bug You? – Making Insects Your Next Big Hobby

Do butterflies make your heart flutter? Do you thrill at the sound of a cicada chorus? Or have you been afraid of bugs your whole life and are wondering what it might take to change your mind?
Join Fields Falcone and Melissa McMasters of Overton Park Conservancy and Allie Mounce of Pretty Useful Co. for an evening of celebrating all things six-legged. They’ll share how they fell in love with bugs, what they’ve learned by observing them, and how they try to make a healthier world for them. Dr. Malle Carrasco-Harris will also be on hand sharing some of the insects she’s collected and mounted. We’ll also have drinks by Old Dominick and bug-themed snacks.
