The first public meeting for Overton Park’s parking and traffic plan will be held this Tuesday, February 2, at 6:00 p.m. in the Brooks Museum of Art auditorium. If you’re unable to attend, or would like to offer your comments in advance, the team at Alta Planning + Design has created an online feedback tool that you can use. Your remarks will go directly to the planning team, not to Overton Park Conservancy. We all appreciate your thoughtful feedback.

For Tuesday’s meeting, the planning team will offer an overview of the planning process and review the issues identified in the meetings currently being conducted with the park partner institutions and stakeholder focus groups. They’ll review some case studies from other parks, and offer guiding principles for this design process for you to react to. You’ll be asked to give input on design solutions to consider. Because we expect a large crowd at this meeting, please come prepared to offer your comments succinctly. We look forward to seeing you there!
