Mid- and Late-20th Century: Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, & Institutional Critique

Lesson description: This lecture will bring us almost to the present day, considering artistic movements of the mid- and late 20th century. We will look at works by artists like Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, Eva Hesse, Judy Chicago, the Guerrilla Girls, Glenn Ligon, and Marina Abramovic.
