Echoes of Angels: A Live Performance in the Moss Gallery

Experience an immersive evening of music and art with Iris Collective in the Moss Gallery at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. Violinist Pedro Maia and cellist Otávio Manzano Kavakama will take you on a musical journey through the interweaving voices of early church music to the birth of classical music while surrounded by Medieval favorites from Memphis’ art collection.

This series redefines the live music experience as the musical selections are  inspired by the art environments in which they are performed. Iris Collective musicians learn about Memphis’ art collection and draw inspiration from conversations with museum curators before creating their unforgettable musical lineup.
