Volunteer Ranger Program


Deepen your connection to Memphis and help create a safe and welcoming park for all by becoming a Volunteer Ranger at Overton Park.

 

Program Information

Do you want to deepen your connection to Overton Park while serving your community? Overton Park Conservancy seeks Volunteer Rangers who will continue our mission of providing a welcoming park for all by inspecting facilities, engaging visitors, performing light trash pickup, and documenting trends. Volunteer Rangers will report to the Conservancy Ranger and are not responsible for enforcing city ordinances.

Volunteer Ranger Expectations:
  • Attend orientation and training session
  • Complete a background check
  • Contribute $15 towards the cost of the background check
  • Sign up and complete a 2 hr shift per month. At this time, most slots will be offered on the weekends

All Volunteer Rangers must be over 18 years old.

Upcoming Orientation

We will have an information and training session on Saturday, July 20th, from 8:30-10AM. If you would like to attend, let us know by filling out the form below! Information regarding the session will be emailed upon registration.
