Homeschool Day – Underwater Inspirations

Dive into creativity at Homeschool Day, inspired by the breathtaking underwater scenes in Calida Rawles’s paintings. This special session coincides with Calida Rawles: Away with the Tides, currently on view at your art museum, offering participants a unique chance to create art inspired by her stunning works.

Students will use crayons and watercolor washes to create a magical wax-resist effect. This fun and engaging activity introduces a new art technique and celebrates the vibrant beauty of ocean life.‍

Docent Tours at 10:30a and 11:15a.
