City Nature Challenge Pop-Up

For the first time, Memphis is participating in the City Nature Challenge, a global event that encourages people to observe wildlife in friendly competition with other cities! The challenge, which runs 4/29 – 5/2, uses the community science app iNaturalist to share photos of wildlife. Conservancy staff will be on hand at the Old Forest entrance near Rainbow Lake Playground to help you get the hang of using the app. Drop by anytime, say hi, and then head into the Old Forest to record your observations!
