Summer Art Garden: Kong Wee Pang

Kong Wee Pang (b.1980, Labis, Johor, Malaysia) graduated from the Singapore Nanyang Academy of Fine Art in 2000. In 2001 she moved to the United States where she received her her MFA from Memphis College of Art in 2012. In 2016 she co-founded Taropop Studio, a creative atelier that focuses on public art, illustration, and branding with clients in the US, Europe, and Asia. As a solo artist, Pang has been commissioned to create public art across the United States and has won various awards for illustration and animation.
