DESCRIPTION:Ground yourself this fall with a Seated Mindfulness Experience led by Coach Alex Carpenter. This gentle session invites you to pause from the pace of daily life and cultivate a sense of peace. No experience necessary. \n\n\n\nBring your own lawn chair\, yoga mat\, or sit mat for comfort—we’ll have a limited number of sit mats available for those who need one. \n\n\n\nCome rain or shine\, this program will be hosted under a covered pavilion. \n\n\n\nThis event is pay-what-you-can\, with a suggested contribution of $3 per person. DESCRIPTION:Held on the first Saturday of each month beginning this fall at the Metal Museum at Overton Park\, each session combines creative artmaking with simple science activities inspired by metalwork. If you or your child require accommodations\, please contact classes@metalmuseum.org after registering so our staff can assist you in advance. \n\n\n\nAdmission FAQ: \n\n\n\n\nEach S.T.E.A.M. Saturdays child ticket includes free Museum admission for the participating child and up to two accompanying adults.\n\n\n\nWhile ages 6–10 are the suggested range for S.T.E.A.M. Saturdays\, older siblings and children are also welcome to attend with a purchased ticket.
