Join Conservancy staff on a walk while we discuss a specific ecological concept for the month. Walks scheduled for the third Thursday of each month February-May at 4pm. Registration will be open a week before each walk.
Join us for an afternoon exploration of galls—fascinating plant structures that serve as homes and food for a variety of organisms. Discover the intricate relationships between plants and the organisms that induce galls, learn to identify different types of galls, and explore their significance in maintaining balanced ecosystems. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast or simply curious about the wonders of the natural world, this program will reveal the hidden complexities of our environment.

Overton Park Conservancy is the nonprofit organization that has been caring for Memphis’s central green space since 2012. With the generous support of our community, we work each day to make the park a beautiful and welcoming place for all Memphians, as well as a valuable source of urban habitat for wildlife.
The Conservancy must raise roughly 85% of our budget each year from people like you who care about the many things Overton Park has to offer. A gift of any amount helps us maintain and improve the park.
