It’s time to Spread Mulch Love at Overton Park! Help us refresh the safety surfacing at Rainbow Lake Playground as part of our annual Comcast Employee & Volunteer Partner Service Day. We are looking for 100 volunteers to help! If at least 50 people help out, Overton Park receives a Comcast External Affairs sponsorship that will help us cover the cost of the safety surfacing. You do not need to be affiliated with Comcast to participate, and this opportunity is open to all ages.
This event will be on Saturday, May 6 from 8:00 AM to noon at Rainbow Lake Playground (at the end of Old Forest Lane in Overton Park, just beside the dog park). Wear closed-toed shoes and bring a water bottle if you have it. Gloves, rakes, and wheelbarrows will be provided.
